Ami Dolenz was arguably the cutest scream queen of the 1990s. Her only theatrical release would be 1989’s “She’s Out Of Control” with Tony Danza as her father. Other than that, the majority of her filmography is 1990s direct to video horror.
Ami starred in Children of the Night. She and her friend have the bright idea of bathing in a crypt with corpses and revive an evil creature.
She starred in Infested aka Ticks, which revolved around teens from LA joining an inner city wildnerness project to get them to see that there is more to life than being an asshole. The resident goody two-shoes are Holly (Rosalind Allen) and Charles (Peter Scolari). But when they arrive they find out that the local pot heads have been using herbal steroids to accelerate the growth of their spiffs…but what happens also is that the ticks grow to golf ball size insects. In Witchboard 2, Dolenz stars as Paige, the hot wannabe artist who moves into a new apartment and starts fooling around with a Oujia board. She receives messages through the oujia that she’s been murdered but there’s no record. Actually, this was a decent flick and Dolenz is absolutely gorgeous in it.
